POOL VOLLEYBALL - 1PM SHARP!

Teams of 4 with a school yard pick.  The 4 team captains will be:

Michelle

Christina

Shauna

Nancy

Captains will draw for their draft order... whoever draws the ace picks first and then a snake draft to pick the rest.  The captain who draws the ace also picks the first round matchups

This is a single elimination event... no points for 3rd/4th!

Games will go to 15... you can only score points on your serve

Players will rotate their serves

No spiking allowed!  If you spike the ball and it's an obvious spike, you lose the point.

First place = 4 pts in the Average Joe Cup standings to the winning team of 4

Second place = 3 pts

Third place = 2 pts

Last place = 0 pts (big goose egg)

NOTE: A ball will be considered out if it hits anything but the water first.  If it catches the edge of the pool and stays in the water, it will still be considered out!

SPEED JENGA

Throughout the day each person will make 1 timed run at building a Jenga stack to a "High Water Mark" as fast as they can.  If they knock over their Jenga tower before making it to the pre-determined height, they are eliminated and their time will not count.  The fastest 2 people on the day will win.  There is no order to this challenge, just complete and log your time whenever you have a free minute.  Time will be recorded using a stop watch or iPhone timer.  Obviously there must be witnesses to verify your success.

Winner - 3 pts in the Average Joe Cup standings

REMOVED FOR THIS SEASON!!

No Season is complete without a good old fashion game of Sociables!  It just wouldn't be right!

Everyone knows how to play... draw a card and follow the instructions.  Even drunken buffoons can figure this one out.  Accumulate points as the game goes on with the ultimate goal of scoring the most points.  All players will start with 10 points and you can't go below 0.  Scoring for the top 8 in points will be as follows (the bottom 8 get no points!):

1st Place - 8 pts

2nd Place - 7 pts

3rd Place - 6 pts

4th Place - 5 pts

5th Place - 4 pts

6th Place - 3 pts

7th Place - 2 pts

8th Place - 1 pt

9th-16th - ZERO!

SOCIABLES!

Sociables Salute.png

NOTE: Ignore the +4 and +1 beside the card values in the left-hand column below.  That's just there for me to count how many cards I need from the 2nd deck.  We need 80 cards total so we have enough for a 5-card poker hand for 16 players
